Knowing Your Local Banker Personally Has Its Advantages
The employees of Itasca Bank & Trust Co. recently gathered for an all-staff photo as they approach their 75th anniversary.
Pianist and motivational speaker Theresa Behenna drew over 300 Women’s Initiative members several years ago.
Itasca Bank & Trust Co. annually sponsors local events like the West Suburban Humane Society’s “Barkapalooza” Walkathon.
The times when every community had a locally owned and operated bank and residents personally knew and socialized with its leadership are largely gone. Today, communities which have such institutions are few and far between as banks buy one another in a quest to grow ever larger.
But the DuPage County communities of Itasca, Roselle, Medinah, Bensenville, Wood Dale and Addison continue to be served by a bank with two locations founded 74 years ago by a local family. Their residents have the luxury of receiving loans for their homes and businesses and securing their funds and valuables in a venerable institution run by fellow residents.
Itasca Bank & Trust Co. was chartered in 1948 by Elmer Franzen, the grandfather of its current president, James Mensching. The growth of the bank mirrored the growth of Itasca and the surrounding communities as returning World War II veterans looked for help buying their first home and car, according to Ginny Wagner, Vice President and Director of Marketing. In fact, the bank will celebrate its 75th year in 2023.
Stats About Wood Dale Bank And Trust To Make You Look Smart Around The Water Cooler
- Sumit on December 10, 2021
I love the idea of using a bank to create a focal point in your home. The wood is a great example of how one can use a natural material to create a focal point. This one is a favorite of mine for its simple and elegant style. The wood is beautiful and the design is easy enough to replicate.
The banks that are being used in the new campaign are made of beech and maple. The wood is a great way to incorporate a natural material, which is used in many other rooms in the home, into the focal point.
Im a huge fan of natural materials and this is one of my favorite examples of that. Its a great example of how a simple and elegant style can be made with a material that is naturally available. The woods being used in this campaign are a good example of how one can use anything and everything to create an interesting and aesthetically pleasing focal point.
The wood is the most effective material for creating a focal point for a story. A few people have tried it, and theyve been unsuccessful.
The problem with using wood is getting it to stay in the wood. Like all materials, it can stick to surfaces with strong bonds that hold it together. But the wood in this campaign has been made of a material that is naturally hard and strong. So after a while you can start to see the wood holding up to the stresses of the environment.
